Here at Overisel Reformed Church we have many opportunities for Adults to be involved in both service and discipleship. Be sure to check our upcoming events for more opportunities to engage in fellowship and learning.
Wednesday Nights
Our Wednesday night activities kick off every week from September to March with a meal from 5:15-6:15. After the meal, we have the following opportunities for adults
Join us each Wednesday night for a time of prayer. We meet in the Olive Tree Room from 5:45-6:30 PM.
The Celebration Choir is Overisel's adult choir. Practice takes place each Wednesday night from 6:30pm-7:45pm in the Choir Room.
Womens Ministries
The Ladies' Tuesday Morning Bible Study meets in Room 1 on the first Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m.
The Ladies' Evening Bible Study meets in the Historical Room on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Women's Bible Study - Tuesday Evenings 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and also on Thursday Mornings 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. Any woman post-high school and above is welcome to join us. We do various studies that last 6-8 weeks. Some of the studies include videos. Contact the church office for more information.
Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m., the College/Career Moms in Prayer group meets to pray for the college/career age adults.
Join us on the first Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center as we spend time together working on quilts. The quilting group meets during the school year and takes the summers off.
New mommys need the support and care of others. There is a group of ladies from ORC who volunteer to cook and deliver a meal to a new mommy.
A ready-made meal is just what someone might need. It could be because of an illness, surgery, or something unexpected, or giving some extra time in a busy life. The Women’s Ministry has prepared meals for just these reasons. If you know someone who could use a meal (8x8), there is a sign-out sheet on the freezer door. Questions? Check with the office.
Additional Opportunities
Meet us for breakfast at 8:15 a.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Trestle Stop Restaurant in Hamilton.
Everyone is welcome to join us at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month as we discuss the book of the month.
We meet in Room 1.
