REV. MIKE PITSENBERGER, LEAD PASTOR
God called Mike to preach His Word at age 24. Mike sees the pulpit as the
heartbeat of the local church. Strong pulpit, strong church. Weak pulpit,
weak church. Mike views preaching through the lens of Isaiah 40:9:
“Behold your God!” He wants to proclaim Christ to as many people as he can
for as long as he can. Mike enjoys shepherding his flock and meeting with his staff.
Mike is honored to serve ORC. Mike and Gina have been serving at Overisel Reformed Church since 2021.
KEN KLEINHEKSEL, PASTOR OF CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Ken is a life long member of ORC and an elder for over 20 years, during which time he realized his gifts and love for caring for God's people at ORC. In 2007, he was hired on staff to lead Congregational Care. In 2013, he was led to further his call by enrolling in the Commissioned Pastor program of the RCA. Ken completed the program and was commissioned on April 17, 2016. He and his wife Nancee enjoy camping and spending time with family and friends.
KEVIN KRUIZENGA, PASTOR OF WORSHIP
Kevin has been serving at ORC since October of 2016. He has a bachelor degree from Kuyper College where he double majored in Music and Worship Arts as well as Bible and Theology and also minored in Audio Productions. He is currently pursuing a certificate in Systematic Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and is in the Alliance's pathways program. Kevin is an ordained pastor in the Alliance of Reformed Churches and leads our worship and tech ministries, he plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and is also engaged with ORC in an internship in Education and Discipleship as he grows in his preaching and teaching skills.
Kevin has been married to Shanley since June 2017, They have three kids: Ezra (4), Eleanor (2) and Eliza (0).
Hunter Smith, Youth Director
Hunter has served Overisel since October 2022. He graduated from Grace Christian University in 2019. He is married to Rebecca and they have a newborn son, Hal. Hunter and Rebecca love being out in nature, hiking, running, and traveling. They have an orange cat named Hank.
They are glad to serve Overisel and look forward to serving and reaching out to our ORC and community families to advance the gospel.
Jill Fynewever, Accounting
KRISTIE POSTMA, SECRETARY
Kristie and her family joined ORC in 2005. She and her husband Chris have been married for 36 years. They have 2 adult married children and 2 grandchildren. In 2012, Kristie was hired as a part-time secretary and continues to fulfill this ever changing position. In their spare time they take joy in spending time with family and loving on their grandchildren, riding bikes, enjoying the great outdoors.
AMY SCHROTENBOER, SECRETARY
Amy has been married to Steve for 29 years. They have 4 children: Matthew, Mikayla, Madison, and Makenze. Amy and Steve joined ORC in 2014. Amy began working part time as a secretary for ORC in Sept of 2015. She also works part time at Holland Hospital in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks, reading, volunteering for the Preschool Kids Club at ORC.
